This legal notice applies to the entire contents of this booking facility. Please take some time to read these Terms and Conditions of Use ('Terms of Use') as by using this booking facility you indicate your acceptance of these Terms of Use regardless of whether or not you choose to register with us. If you do not accept these terms, do not use this booking facility. By using any part of the booking engine, you shall be deemed to have accepted this legal notice in full.
The Road Safety Authority (herein after referred to as the RSA) facilitates bookings of appointments relating to driving licence and learner permit applications to be made in NDLS centres.
Service Access
While the RSA endeavors to ensure that the booking facility is normally available 24 hours a day, The RSA shall not be liable if for any reason the booking facility is unavailable at any time or for any period. Access to the booking facility may be suspended temporarily and without notice in the case of system failure, maintenance or repair or for reasons beyond the RSA's control.
NO UNLAWFUL OR PROHIBITED USE
As a condition of your use of this booking facility, you undertake to the NDLS that you will not use this facility for any purpose that is unlawful or prohibited by or contrary to the Terms of Use.
BOOKING CONDITIONS
Please read the following conditions which apply to reservations/bookings made by you for appointments at NDLS centres made through this booking facility.- In order to access the system and make an appointment you must have your driver number or your PPSN.
- If for any reason you cannot access the online booking system you must attend the centre in person and use the walk in service.
- Browser compatibility: You must have a java script enabled browser and accept cookies
- You must provide a valid mobile phone number or email address to receive confirmation of you appointment and cannot create an appointment without doing so.

- In order to maintain maximum capacity within the NDLS centres each applicant will only be allowed one appointment at any time.
- If you fail to attend at the correct centre on the correct date and time, you will be blocked from re-applying for another appointment for 14 days
- You can choose any available time in the centre most convenient to you on a day of your choice within the opening hours of the centre.
- If you are applying for a first licence (learner permit) and do not have a driver number, you must use your PPSN to book an appointment; Alternatively you can use the walk-in service or book an appointment while at an NDLS centre.
- On confirmation of a booking you will be given a reference number which must presented at the NDLS when you attend for your appointment
- By accepting these terms and conditions you are agreeing to allow the RSA to send an SMS to your phone or email to you chosen email address about your NDLS appointment.
- The RSA reserve the right to cancel any bookings they deem to made for profit on behalf of a third party.
Data protection
For the purpose of managing your licence/permit application, data will be collected and retained in accordance with data protection rules. This data may include PPSN and driver number.
The RSA will use your personal data primarily for the purpose of arranging and administering NDLS appointments. In addition such personal data may be used for statistical management purposes; to assess the effectiveness of the RSA's services and to investigate any suspected incidences of fraud or other breaches of the integrity of NDLS process and service.
Your personal data may be processed by third parties contracted on behalf of the RSA to administer the NDLS service. It may also be disclosed to other public authorities and/or the Gardaí where relevant or necessary for the above purposes as provided for in law. Without prejudice to the generalities of the preceding sentences of these terms, the RSA will not share, sell or otherwise distribute personal or contact details to any other bodies or individuals save those specified previously.
You have may the right, subject to certain exemptions, to obtain a copy of any personal data the RSA holds about you and to correct any inaccuracies in such data. If you wish to avail of these rights (where applicable) please contact us at:

Disclaimer of liability
To the greatest extent permitted by law the RSA shall not be liable for any loss, damage or other liability that you may suffer arising out of or in connection with your use of this service, whether under theories of contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability or otherwise. In no circumstances will the RSA be liable for special, incidental, indirect or economic loss or damage, however it may arise, including as a result of loss of time, loss of savings, loss of data, loss of business, loss of revenue, loss of opportunity, loss of goodwill or loss of profits.
Except as expressly set out in these terms and conditions, to the greatest extent permitted by law, all warranties, conditions, representations, undertaking, statements, terms and provisions express or implied by statute, common law or otherwise are excluded by the RSA.
Conflict of terms
If there is a conflict or contradiction between the provisions of these terms and conditions and any other relevant terms and conditions, policies or notices that are provided to you by the RSA in relation to your NDLS Appointment, the other provisions shall prevail.
